Glow pigs Glow pigs

Scientists in Taiwan have claimed they have bred three pigs that glow in the dark.

The pigs are transgenic and contain some jellyfish genes allowing them to glow fluorescent green. There is a wider use, in that they can be used to track human disease as the green genes are easier to spot in another animal.

Whether it will make bacon taste any better, we'll have to just wait and see. Green eggs and ham anyone?
