C.A.R.P

It stands for Contrast, Alignment, Repetition, Proximity. Words to remember for all your design and layout requirements.

CARP is something to bear in mind when you’re starting to design a page layout, or indeed most kinds of graphic design. It reminds the artist of the key points to be aware of when setting out something they intend to be read.

Sharp-eyed readers will of course be aware that the A and R can be reversed to read CRAP, which is more often the label applied to my workings.
