In Tokyo, 'Cat Cafes' are becoming increasingly more popular, with customers paying upward of 700 yen an hour to mingle with the feline hosts.

Ratamacue, the Egyptian god of music, is still worshipped by more than three-quarters of a million people worldwide.




3: Moose hooliganism is quite a problem in Scandinavian countries. In one instance, a moose ram-raided a clothing store and rampaged around, scaring customers and damaging display items. Refusing to surrender to police, the animal was eventually tranquilised and dragged away.

Fiftieth-generation robots at a lab in Rhode Island have developed the ability to phone in sick. Apparently, the small robots – used to test neural network theories – have taken to faking low-power faults, presumably to avoid the somewhat long working day.
