Houston, We Have A Mess

Houston, We Have A Mess

By Clora Reed

The international space station has been described as "full of shit and useless crap that no-one would ever want" said Uri Bruhaha on his return to Earth after a four week stint up there looking for some important documents that were believed lost but were very important.

"It's choc-a-bloc with bric-a-brac and guff that people on earth just can't find use for anymore but daren't throw away," he whinged. " I spent four hours going through old grainy photos of people I don't know and moving old china plates wrapped in paper out of the way"

"I did find a couple of old board games I hadn't played for ages and me and American astronaut Chuck Harvard did play Cowboys and Injuns for a while but then NASA told us it was time to come home and so I had to go.

Chuck told me to phone the Russian space agency and tell them that I would be staying with them for the night but they weren't having it so now I am back in Moscow."

The report will fuel concerns among the international science community that there is a lack of clarity about who should be responsible for the international space station. Astronaut Chuck Harvard has already voiced concerns about the washing up.

"I don't know guys," he said during a telecast last week. "There's a lot of dirty dishes here and I know that they're not all mine," he said pointedly

NASA has promised to send a cleaner on Tuesday.
