I'm a PhD astronomer and the author of the 1999 science humor book A Briefer History of Time (not to be confused with the 2005 book of the same name by Steve Hawking and Leo Mlodinow). I've performed and/or talked about my science humour on American National Public Radio, Canadian Broadcasting Company radio, Public Radio International, and Nederland 2 (Dutch Public Television).

My science humour has been published in Null Hypothesis, the Journal of Polymorphous Perversity, and the Annals of Improbable Research (where I'm a member of the editorial board).

Eric's articles:

Science: no kidding
How to write a scientific paper
An operational assessment of the E-11 Blaster
