What is this? What is this?

I know what you’re thinking. “Urgh, looks like something I wouldn’t feed my dog.”

But this dogs’ dinner is in fact completely inedible.  Look a little closer and it will become apparent why.

This is SolidAlliance’s new USB FoodHub.  The icky orange Kraken-like mound of rice is the hub, and the other four miscellaneous food items are USB connectors.

Why?  We don’t know either.  But this kind of thing must be making somebody at SolidAlliance a fat wad of cash, because this isn’t the first food-styled gadget they’ve come up with. Oh no.

Introducing USB sushi.

As you can see, each stick has a plastic replica of a different type of sushi attached to it.  Marvellous.  So if you’re one of those people who likes to wonder around with your memory stick dangling around your neck, you can now flaunt a rather fetching piece of mock tuna – or caviar, if you prefer.
