Something For the Weekend

It is a scientific fact that we like to get something for nothing, regardless of what that something might be (a fact the Sunday newspapers are fully aware of, hence they give away DVDs of rubbish old movies nobody has wanted to watch for thirty years). Brothel owners in Australia have caught on to this fact and are exploiting it in the most bizarre way possible: by giving clients discounts based on their petrol bills.
The system is very simple: you pay for your fuel, you go to the brothel, present your fuel bill and get 20 cents per litre off your other bill. It seems extraordinary, but as brothels are legal across most of Australia, it's really nothing more than a simply marketing promotion. It's certainly better than clubcard points.
It is not yet known whether any British supermarkets will offer a similar service in the future.
