Hot Scientists of the Week

Hot Scientists of the Week

This week we have not one, but two Hot Scientists! Their names are Greg Costakes and Heather Hutchens, both graduate students at Purdue University in the US.

Greg is a structural biologist.  He recently visited the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, where he spent most of his time riding a bicycle around the giant ring (aka the synchrotron).

Heather studies pox viruses and made it into the second round of auditions for Playboy's 'Girls of the Big Ten', which features girls from the "big ten" US schools. Just remember - you saw her here first.

Nominate someone, or even yourself, to be our Hot Scientist of the Week. Send a photo and brief description to [email protected].
