Peculiar Periodicals
It turns out there are even more unlikely publications than The Journal of Unlikely Science. Every Thursday, our very own Dr Steer turns his attention to another weird science journal.

| Usefulness – I've been misled. Evidently it's not weeds as in 'men with less than the average bicep' weeds, but weeds as in 'but Mum I hate gardening' weeds. How disappointing, looks like I'm not going to avoid that half-nelson after all. |  |
| Impressiveness – Article title: "Effects of pyruvate and sucrose on acetolactate synthase activity in Lindernia species and Schoenoplectus juncoides in an in vivo assay". Aaaah, run, head for the hills. It's the bigger boys with their big words. |  |
