Peculiar Periodicals

It turns out there are even more unlikely publications than The Journal of Unlikely Science.
Every Thursday, our very own Dr Steer turns his attention to another weird science journal.

This week: PSYCHOLOGY OF MEN AND MASCULINITY

Name – Is there that much to know that you need a whole journal?
Click to enlarge Front cover – Of all the rubbish covers we've seen, this is the rubbishest. So. Darned. Boring. Why not have some this like this instead (click me)?
Off-the-wallness – One article is about men's fear of unintentional rape - can you be raped unintentionally?
Usefulness – How much more do you need to know past beer, sport & boobs? If people are still looking for deeper needs amongst the male folk - you're wasting your time.
Impressiveness – You've gone and hung out with a bunch of lads and found out what makes them tick - you found it was beer, sport & boobs. No big deal. But you got paid for doing it. Good work.
             -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall - Pointless research. Men will always understand each other. Women will always be bemused. It's a fact of life.

Impact factor: Really hard. Because really hard means I'm a proper man.
