Born inadvertently, Mike took to writing after realising that it was one of the few occupations that could be performed almost exclusively in a seated position.
Several years with a stage-pyrotechnics crew has left him with an insatiable thirst, a love of the unlikely and a passing interest in science.
Currently investigating, on a freelance basis, the military potential of kitten-piloted surveillance aircraft, he would dearly like to write a stage play, but can’t really be arsed.
