Cafe Scientifique Public science forums - Cafe Scientifique is a forum for debating science issues. Anyone can come to explore the latest ideas in science and technology. Meetings have taken place in cafes, bars, restaurants and even theatres, but always outside a traditional academic context. They are committed to promoting public engagement with science and to making science accountable.
  University of Bristol Biological Sciences and University of Bristol Alumni Foundation - Biological Sciences is a dynamic, research-based School with a commitment to fundamental biology and cutting edge advances in new technologies. They were rated at grade 5 in the 2001 HEFCE Research Assessment Exercise. The Alumni Foundation was set up in 1982, "to support the University of Bristol as a place of excellence in teaching and research and to enhance the quality of University life".
