This week's Hot Scientist is Saumitra Raj Mehrotra, a graduate student at Purdue University, USA.

Saumitra's PhD is in Electrical Engineering.  His research strays into the realms of nanotechnology and may one day mean that we can buy laptops much cheaper...  His other interests include standing on beaches and drinking.
